A few weeks ago, we announced the future range of PU-R steel sheet pile sections that are intended to replace the low-end range PU sections. The new PU 7R and PU 10R will be rolled beginning of 2008. PU 14R will be introduced after those two sections: availability mid 2008.

The last rollings of PU 6 and PU 8 are already fully booked, and consequently, we suggest the use of GU sections, cold-formed sections or PU-R sections (for long term projects). We encourage our customers to consider these changes for all new projects. Our technical department can assist our customers to work out alternative solutions to PU 6 and PU 8 sections.

The PU 12 section will still be rolled during the first months of 2008. Please note that the PU 12-10/10, with a minimum thickness of 10 mm over the whole pile, will be available until further notice.

Il y a quelques semaines, nous annoncions le développement d'une nouvelle gamme de palplanches acier "PU-R", destinés à remplacer les profils PU 6, PU 8 et PU 12 de la gamme de palplanche PU standard. Dans un premier temps deux nouveaux profils seront laminés, les PU 7R et PU 10R, leur disponibilité est prévue dès 2008. Il faudra patienter jusqu'en milieu d'année pour le profil PU 14R.

Les derniers laminages de PU 6 et PU 8 sont déjà complets, nous suggérons par conséquent l'utilisation de palplanches GU, de palplanches profilées à froid ou dans le cas de projet à long terme des sections PU-R. Dans le cas de nouveaux projets, ces changements sont à considérer comme impératifs. Des solutions alternatives aux sections PU 6 et PU 8 pourront être étudiées par notre département technique, qui se tiendra à disposition de nos différents partenaires. 

Le laminage du profil PU 12 se poursuivra pendant les premiers mois de 2008. Concernant le profil PU 12-10/10, il restera disponible.

Vor einigen Wochen haben wir die neue PU-R Profilreihe vorgestellt, welche das untere Ende der vorhandenen PU-Reihe ersetzen soll. Die neuen PU 7R und PU 10R Profile werden ab Anfang 2008 gewalzt; die PU 14R ist ab Mitte 2008 erhältlich.

Da die letzten Walzungen der PU 6 und PU 8 mittlerweile ausgebucht sind, empfehlen wir bei langfristigen Projekten auf die GU oder PU-R Profilreihen zurückzugreifen. Hiermit weisen wir unsere Kunden offiziell darauf hin, dass wir keine Bestellungen von PU 6 und PU 8 Profilen mehr entgegennehmen werden. Unser technisches Büro steht Ihnen bei der Einarbeitung der neuen Profilreihen in vorhandene Entwürfe jederzeit zur Verfügung.

PU 12 Profile werden während den ersten Monaten des nächsten Jahres voraussichtlich noch hergestellt. Die PU 12-10/10, mit einer minimalen Wandstärke von 10 mm (Flansch und Steg) wird bis auf weiteres erhältlich sein.
